By I am so incredibly excited to share here that I have been given the honor to be a judge in the third annual Twinkie Cake Contest. The contest is held in the month of August and the winner will receive an honorarium of $50.00 and will also be awarded a new twinkie cake.
I’m not sure if that was the point of the contest or if it was just an elaborate, highly entertaining game with little or no chance of winning. But the reality is that it is very much a game. We’re just going to take a few hours each week to make sure we’re all able to win, so I think that will do the trick for all of us.
The best thing about Twinkie Cake is that the winner will be crowned with the most coveted twinkie cake on the island. The winner of the contest is usually a top notch chef that has earned the most food and drink awards. The contest itself is a game that gets a lot of attention, and in some ways it’s a joy to have a cake that you can win.
