These seeds make a wonderful addition to pastries, bagels, dressings, sauces, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. These seeds can be used for all your poppy seed needs!

Our seeds can also be planted. These stunning flowers make a lovely addition to any backyard garden and can even be grown in pots indoors or outside, this flower will grow just about anywhere and is very low maintenance. These seeds have a very high germination rate

Planting Instructions:

1) just sprinkle seeds on top of moist, rich soil, covering with soil is not usually necessary unless you are planting in windy conditions.

2) If starting indoors, plant in small pots with peat or compacting substrate that will transplant without falling apart.

3) Go easy on the water at first. Poppy seeds are extremely light and a gush of water can blast them too deep in the soil. Use a mist or light stream of water until your poppies are about an inch tall. After that, they are pretty much indestructible

4) Enjoy your fast-growing crop of poppy flowers. These poppies are suitable for any purpose you can imagine

Poppies are a very low maintenance plant. They can grow almost everywhere in the United States, and are very adaptable. Poppy seeds can take between 3 days to two weeks to germinate, depending on conditions. The colors of this strain range from shades of red, to pink and white.

The best times to start growing poppies and plant seeds is either early fall in the warmer parts of the country, or in the spring/early summer in the Northern half of the U.S. These seeds will germinate in a wide range of temperatures, from as low as 60 degrees F to as high as 90.
