First, you need a piece of paper. You dont’ have to use one of those big old-fashioned, cheap paper ones. You can use a regular piece of paper. You can also use a thin piece of cardboard, which is just a little thicker than the paper.
I ended up using a piece of paper and putting a piece of cardboard over the bottom. That way I could get the tray in and out of the dishwasher without having to get a paper and a screwdriver.
