This is a classic summer vegetable recipe that I have made so many times, you can’t help but think of it when making it for dinner. The cauliflower and red pepper are the main ingredients, but it is really all about the flavor. I like to use roasted garlic, but if you don’t like the strong flavor, you can use roasted shallots. Add any other spices that you like, and you’ll have a great side dish.
I think this is a very tasty salad to serve with soup. I also just like to serve it over rice, it really is that good.
For me, cauliflower is just that good. It has a lot of great flavor, it’s not too heavy or watery. The whole reason I like it is because it’s so easy to make, just make a big bowl of it, and top it with whatever you like. Also, I have not given the recipe yet, so I’m sure I’ll get some questions.
I have not yet asked for the recipe, but I guess you can just use the same method that I used. Place the shallots in a pan with water, butter (I prefer ghee), pepper, salt, and enough vegetable oil to cover them. Simmer on the burner for a few minutes until they have a little softness, then pour off the water, and add the shallots.
This is a great recipe and I love how simple it is. It only takes a few minutes to do, but you can really put this sauce on anything, including chicken, which is what I like to do.
I’m not sure if you can make cauliflower wings, but you can make a quick stir fry by adding fresh veggies to the pan. I’ve done this way before and it is seriously good.
Vegetable oil does a great job of covering the cauliflower wings. You can add a lot of liquid that you might have in your house or just let them sit at room temperature.
Just be careful not to burn them as you don’t want to ruin the sauce. Its also good to season the vegetables with salt and pepper. I like to use a small stick of butter, but you can also add a little oil.
I’m a big fan of cauliflower, so I thought I would try this. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how flavorful this is.
